To study is a look into the mirror.

My falling in love with Anthropology is narcissistic: I've never found another subject so similar to my temperament. And Anthropology, like me, can easily turn the sacred practice of love into a field of logical debates and biological deduction. What a bore to humanity! I must keep myself in constant watch.

To study anything is not only the close examination of the external world, but first and foremost a look into the mirror. The art of studying anything is an emotional capability that’s cultivated from the quiet space of daily life. It is a mutual dance of the revolution within and without, both swaying in the agreement on liberation and truth.

Because my focus is on love & intimacy, my study becomes a continual confrontation with self-alienation and the repressed corners within.
