Are you playing to win?

Most of school's challenges are finite games where you have a finish line (deadlines, exams) and you play to win (soccer, good grades, graduation).

Most real life's problems are infinite games where there is no finish line and the objective is not to win, but to play as long as possible. There's no winning Marriage, nobody wins "Education", or "Career", or "Business", or "Global Health". The game continues into indefinite.

If we play with the finite mindset in an infinite game, where we strive to "be number one" or "beat our competitors" when there's no finish line, we corrode trust, collaboration, peace, and innovation. Always know what game we are in and what kind of player we are pursuing.
