The deadliness of passion.

Passion is fire, if uncontained, might consume a forest.

Those who are untouched by the heat of passion are living corpses. There is a subliminal deadness in their laughter, a hollowness to their speech, so distant and detached like rote memorization for a hated exam. When they kiss your neck, you are perpetually shocked into realizing that you are making love with a shell.

On the other spectrum, those whose only life source is passion will be burnt dead from exhaustion and madness. They neglect hygienic protocols, live on an emotional high while letting the house mossed and rot. And because fire is easily charged, a person who's consummated by passion, when entitled, is easily fueled with drama, depression, and rage.

The prescription for those who don't know of passion is to reconnect with their ability to feel. Only then will passion arrive naturally in life's wonders and explorations.

And if they have found what ignites their passion, whether in the form of a lover, a game, a job, a life path and what not, it is utmost important to contain the fire by a mindful distribution of their energy. Don't give up one's daily routine to make space for fire, but maintain these parameters for sanity and health.
